Brief:
Boost wanted to create awareness and drive usage for their International QR payments amongst tourists from Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia travelling in Malaysia. With Boost, travellers can now make payments using their home currency instantly and securely.
Solution:
We leveraged on a common travel observation: we always return from trips abroad with a pocketful of loose change in foreign currencies, which are useless once we step off the plane.
Using a series of dramatic scenarios set in our pockets, foreign currencies bicker with the Malaysian currency. This way, we tell tourists to avoid this situation of collecting useless foreign change by paying with Boost International QR Payments instead.
These ads were displayed prominently in Boost Biz Merchant stores, driving usage at points of sale.
