ZUS Coffee was often perceived as a foreign brand because of its name and the quality that was seen as too good to be local. There is a misperception by most Malaysians that products made in the country are mediocre in terms of standard and quality and that imported goods are better.
Solution:
In the effort to reclaim its Malaysian identity, we took ZUS Coffee to court to set the record straight while redefining the perception of 'local quality' as something that is of high value which Malaysians should be proud of.
