To celebrate its 50th Anniversary, KFC wanted to collaborate with an icon that was equally local and original in the eyes of Malaysians. Who could KFC best partner with for a finger lickin' good collaboration?
Solution:
We partnered with local legend Ujang, known for his iconic illustration style among Malaysians through his comics and magazines. Working closely with Ujang and giving his illustrations a new breath of life, we released a limited edition fashion collection. The 'Koleksi Aku Budak Kepci' was sold exclusively at Kentucky Town, KFC's 50th Anniversary Celebration.
To promote the collection, we launched a lookbook video styled as a music video. The lyrics reflect how Malaysians speak, making it relatable to all.
