Thomson Activated Ginkgo Extract, is a Health Supplement with Patented ACTIVATION technology from Japan to enhance absorption of its active ingredients. Each tablet contains 40mg of Activated Ginkgo biloba extract from Japan, equivalent to 2000mg of young Japanese Ginkgo leaves. This health supplement meant to promote micro blood circulation for good health. Thomson does not compromise on their product's quality and pride in adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. They take further step adhering pharmaceutical (over herbal) to ensure the highest safety with an in-house Quality Control laboratory. The marketing objective of this campaign is to deliver the goodness of this product 'Thomson AGE' to the Malay community and educate them of good blood circulation as client had successfully obtain certified Certificate of Authentication "HALAL" since 2017. Client realized that the awareness on health conscious among Malay community is relatively weaker.
Solution:
We came up with the idea of adding in futuristic theme, such as touch screen scene. In order to attract the attention of the audience, client had chosen the uprising radio DJ 'AG' as their spokesperson of Thomson AGE. Product was introduced with the spokesperson mentioning the problems / symptoms of what people faced when ageing, the keyword 'Risau' as everyone's concern of their daily life. In the short 30sec commercial, it also demonstrated the efficacy of the product. The results has shown the domination of their brand in Malay communities especially adult and elderly of those that have the needs. The brand had slowly gain brand awareness and in return, sales had increased, as well as positive feedback were received from certain target group.
