Brief:
In Malaysia, KFC and Malay weddings have always gone hand in hand — from hantaran gifts to post-wedding feasts. But rarely do we get to make those moments even bigger. So when love came knocking, we saw an opportunity to turn a real love story into something truly original. Back in 2021, two influencers — Irfan and Ellyna — met on the set of a KFC commercial. A simple shoot sparked something special. Fast forward a few years, their engagement video on TikTok went viral, revealing how their love story began with KFC. The internet went crazy!
Solution:
We heard the chatter and seized the moment to celebrate their love by bringing their story full circle. We designed a wedding inspired by where it all began. Every detail had meaning: specially designed buckets of chicken at every table, a KFC-inspired cake telling their story, and décor that celebrated their love for KFC. All for just RM25,000 and one of our most unexpected activations ever.
