Brief:
Our objective was twofold: continue introducing the all-new Astro One in a way that resonates with Malay family-centric devotees, while driving deeper consideration and trial. The goal was to shift perception, from “Astro is my parents’ TV” to “Astro One is my family’s essential streaming app.”
Solution:
We tapped into a relatable family truth: wives often compare their husbands to the heroes in their favourite dramas. In “Ini Bukan Suami Aku,” husbands hilariously turn to Astro One dramas as their guidebook to win their wives back, showing how Astro One inspires real moments of connection at home.
To keep the story alive, we created short “romance tip” videos featuring playful gestures husbands could learn from Astro dramas. These bite-sized clips blended humour with product relevance, designed for YouTube Shorts to deepen engagement.
By casting beloved local celebrities, we brought instant recognition and cultural warmth. Their chemistry made the humour sharper and the romance more believable, bridging screen fantasy with real family life.
