In early 2023, Unifi Business found itself playing second fiddle to Maxis in the SME consideration game.
The challenge? 79% of Malaysia's SMEs are microbusinesses operating more like consumers than corporations. So why speak to them like they're Fortune 500? They wanted something simple, smart, and relatable.
Sounds easy, right?
Our mission? Boost brand engagement and win back consideration.
Solution:
Why drown microbusinesses in corporate jargon when they're hungry for real, actionable advice? Enter Unibizity, Malaysia's first podcast for micropreneurs, speaking their language literally.
We launched a 3-season audio series, breaking down business challenges into bite-sized, digestible insights. Each episode schooled micropreneurs on topics from digitization to customer growth, all in an hour-long, easy-to-listen format on YouTube and Spotify. No MBA needed.
TL;DR? We sliced the podcast into snackable clips and pushed them across Unifi Business's social media, reaching micropreneurs where they scroll and swipe.
The result? Unifi Business didn't just get back in the game they dominated. A 345% surge in brand engagement and a 9-point boost in consideration, outpacing Maxis. Oh, and we snagged People's Choice for Podcast of the Year at the Asia Podcast Awards.
