Brief:
AmBank sought a festive Hari Raya campaign that would go beyond the usual celebration of joy and togetherness. The brief called for a campaign that not only raised awareness but also addressed hidden societal struggles, with the goal of resonating emotionally and making a real impact on the community.
Solution:
We created a film centered around Yana, a woman battling cancer, who continues to prepare for Raya with her family. Her story represents the silent struggles many Malaysians face behind closed doors, highlighting the importance of support and empathy during challenging times. The campaign went beyond storytelling by partnering with the National Cancer Society Malaysia to provide free cancer screenings and health services. The film sparked conversations and emotional responses, ultimately demonstrating that topics like cancer should no longer be taboo, even during festive celebrations.
