TM Hari Kebangsaan & Hari Malaysia 2025
Client:
Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM)
Brief:
Before this project, Helo Malaysia was a song few had heard; an original piece by ZIMI’J, a band of autistic musicians who wrote about what freedom and belonging sounded like to them.
Their voices carried the essence of unity, but not the kind we were used to hearing.
TM saw in this song an opportunity to celebrate the nation’s diversity in a new way: not by creating a corporate anthem, but by adapting one that already carried the spirit of Malaysia within it.
Solution:
TM licensed and reimagined Helo Malaysia as a National Day anthem, preserving its raw honesty while amplifying its reach.
The track was rearranged with a bolder rock sound and remastered for national broadcast, while children from the Early Autism Project contributed original artwork that became the heartbeat of the music video.
This adaptation gave the song a stage big enough for the country to listen.
Through Helo Malaysia, TM redefines what inclusion sounds like.
