Brief:
To raise awareness and build trust with the Muslim community by announcing our halal certification of four outlets as well as generate anticipation for additional outlets that are in the process of obtaining certification. We needed to go beyond the bare minimum and create something to make Malaysians stop, stare & participate.
Solution:
Inspired by Mission: Impossible, we tasked our “secret agent” with Jollibee Malaysia’s most important mission yet: securing Halal status for all our outlets across the country. Our 15-second launch film spoofed the franchise’s most iconic scene, wired down Tom Cruise-style, dodging “laser audits” and a storm of paperwork, before triumphantly planting the Halal flag into our beloved Chicken Joy. Getting Halal certification certainly wasn’t easy… but when we finally did, it was nothing short of mission accomplished.
