Brief:
The challenge was to create an anniversary celebration that not only honoured PETRONAS' impressive milestones but also engaged and resonated with a diverse audience.PETRONAS needed to bridge its corporate achievements with personalised connections, fostering a sense of pride, unity and shared success among Malaysians.
Solution:
By blending legacy, art and innovation, PETRONAS transformed the Suria KLCC concourse into a multi-sensory brand environment that brought its 50-year journey to life. The centrepiece, the Infinity Loop, was an 89-metre LED installation powered by motion, light and real-time engagement, surrounding visitors in an immersive story of progress and unity.
Complementing it, the Warisan Kita: Terus Tumbuh exhibition at Galeri PETRONAS extended the experience through spatial design, art and interactive storytelling that celebrated Malaysia’s shared growth. Together, these installations turned history into participation, celebrating five decades of progress while inspiring Malaysians to look forward to a shared future.
Over 30,000 visitors experienced the exhibitions, exceeding engagement goals by 20 percent.
