After Game of Thrones' divisive finale and a slow start to HOTD, the fire of Westeros had dimmed. We needed to give fans a reason to not just tune in, but to tune in on Astro.
Solution:
We recreated King's Landing in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Introducing KL to KL - a campaign that made the fantasy world of Westeros tangible, and generated brand love by rewarding the fans.
We brought Westeros to life at MRT Pasar Seni station, immersing passengers in the world of House of the Dragon. From the moment they stepped on the train, they embarked on a journey through Westeros, descending into the Dragon Pit and arriving at a striking recreation of King's Landing.
The station's atmosphere was transformed '“ a live orchestra played the iconic theme, while visitors pledged loyalty to House Green or Black at our interactive photo booth. Malaysia's top radio stations clashed in a battle for supremacy, making every moment feel like a fight for the Iron Throne, all tied together with a powerful social campaign.
