In a world where every wallet, app, and bank wants a place in your pocket, how do you make SavePlus the one that people choose? In Malaysia’s hyper-competitive financial landscape, every bank promises smarter savings and better returns. Consumers are bombarded with near-identical offers daily, making it harder than ever for one product to stand out. For Alliance Bank, the challenge wasn’t about lowering acquisition costs but about driving scalable growth for SavePlus, its flagship digital savings account. Despite being built as a “bank in your pocket,” SavePlus risked being lost in the noise. Early campaigns revealed strong awareness but weak conversion, signalling a deeper problem of sameness. The task was to make SavePlus top-of-mind as the smarter, simpler way to save and spend digitally while reinforcing Alliance Bank’s ambition to be the Bank for Life.
Solution:
In a crowded financial market, we built a digital solution focused on precision and performance. Our Always-On strategy connected TikTok and Google to guide users from discovery to conversion. On TikTok (70%), we used native storytelling, smart segmentation, and pacing control to reach mobile-first audiences without ad fatigue. On Google (30%), we applied structured keyword themes, negative keyword hygiene, ad extensions, and landing page optimisation to capture high-intent users. Continuous A/B testing, creative rotation, and audience scaling ensured efficiency and freshness throughout. By uniting storytelling with search intent, the campaign delivered a 70% drop in cost per conversion and sustained growth in new accounts, proving that data-led media craft drives lasting results.
