Many in the B40 community continue to face economic pressure. Yet they remain hopeful, always finding ways to improve their lives. NESCAFÉ wanted to be seen as a daily companion to these everyday people, recharging them through their daily journeys. We were tasked with creating a 30 second radio spot to bring this idea to life.
Solution:
Instead of a regular radio ad, we partnered with local rockstar Black Hanifah to create a full song, a national anthem of resilience, built on the grit of Malaysians. The song premiered to a weary crowd of 1,000 who had just finished their day’s grind. It went on to receive airplay across mainstream radio and debuted on Spotify. With iced cold coffee and a banging anthem, there's nothing you can't do.
Since its launch, the song has reached over 3.9 million listeners across multiple audio platforms.
