During Ramadan Raya, advertising in Malaysia becomes incredibly competitive. It's a time when our target audience often travels back to their Kampung, where clean air, clear water, and quality rest are not always their top priorities. To stand out from our competitors and effectively sell our brand of healthy home solutions, we need to entertain our audience while ensuring the core message is clear. Additionally, we can leverage the opportunities presented during this festive season when our target audience typically purchases new appliances and furniture.
Solution:
To strengthen CUCKOO's position as a Healthy Home Creator, a 360° campaign has been launched, encouraging Malaysians to combat lethargy during Eid. Anchored by the main film, which follows a girl returning to her hometown, only to discover that her father and the villagers have been affected by a mysterious ailment and how CUCKOO helps cure the "sickness." For this campaign, we drew inspiration from local humor and pop culture references, and for the celebrities in the campaign, they aimed to use the brand ambassador Lee Minho and Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza's star power in a more unexpected and playful manner.
