A 30-Second Visual Punch:- Organized by EFG (ESL Faceit Group), Grand Final Opening Animation for Snapdragon Pro Series Jakarta 2023 sets the stage for an epic showdown. We are given a task from EFG to direct a 30-second visually compelling opening video that would captivate the audience and set the tone for the event's high-energy action on Mobile Legend : Bang Bang ( MLBB )

Solution:

Bold Exploration of Hybrid Visual Effects :- We took full advantage of the creative freedom granted for this project to offer the Indonesian audience, where the event took place, a fresh take on their local iconic hero as well as one of the in-game character-Gatotkaca, as he faces off against his rival, Martis. By blending 3D VFX with 2D hand-drawn animation, we merged two worlds bringing the dynamic intensity of gaming together with the expressive artistry of graphic novels. This hybrid technique elevates the visual effects by creating a striking contrast of art styles that amplifies the energy and impact of the legendary battle, resulting in a visually arresting experience that pushes the boundaries of what's possible in animation.
