Brief:
Caltex has been part of Malaysia's story and culture for almost 90 years. As such, they have a great admiration for our traditions and heritage, and wanted to celebrate it during the National Day & Malaysia Day period. But as we were developing the idea, we noticed that as we continue to advance, our heritage and traditions are slowly being forgotten. So to help stop it from fading away, we wanted to reach out to Malaysians everywhere and remind them of the importance of our beloved traditions.
Solution:
We crafted a whimsical film where the Malaysian flag has mysteriously disappeared from the face of the earth, and only through the journey of two siblings, rediscovering the magic and importance of Malaysia's traditions with the help of an enigmatic book, can the Jalur Gemilang be saved from being lost forever.
The story engages audiences through the exploration of local culture and familial bonds. Written with a perfect blend of whimsical heartfelt moments and quirky offbeat humor, it creates an enchanting visual experience where humor, heart, and artistry come together seamlessly.
