Brief:
Over the years, La Roche-Posay built its name on credibility, trust and dermatology approval. However, the serious and clinical language often come across as distant in markets like Malaysia and Singapore. With the rise of new sunscreen brands and products flaunting beauty and lifestyle, it was easy for La Roche-Posay to get overlooked on the shelves. The challenge was to make La Roche-Posay more relatable without losing the science.
Solution:
We gave science a face. Actually, a few faces that belonged to SOIMJENN, Malaysia’s queen of playing everyone in the room. Instead of talking about skin science, we gave character arcs for each ingredient and how they block UV, fade dark spots, and calm inflammation. So easy to understand, you’d mistake it for a Teletubbies episode.
