Brief:

Since GE14, Malaysians have seen various politicians playing musical chairs for the Prime Minister's seat. For the first time in history, Malaysia had three Prime Ministers in the span of 4 years. As Malaysians geared up to vote again in the 15th General Elections, BFM, a business radio station, also prepared to do a video livestream coverage of the elections '“ a first since it was established in 2008. The brief was to design an eye-catching poster that would act as the marketing material for the livestream, and also encourage people to head out and pick their next Prime Minister.

Solution:

Who would be your next Prime Minister? Our designer went with a looping, 15-second interactive video poster that featured the cutouts of Anwar Ibrahim, Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Muhyiddin Yassin and Zahid Hamidi's heads. The audience is challenged to a game of landing a head on the body, and DM-ing us the screenshot of their results to get a BFM merchandise. The idea behind the game was also to remind people that the power to choose their next Prime Minister is in their hands. The results? Almost 90,000 views for BFM's first ever video livestream coverage of the general elections, and 1,500 people sharing their screenshots.
