Brief:
The responsibility of giving 'œDuit Raya' and taking over Raya preparations befall Malay youths the moment they get their first paycheck. In Malaysia, this rite of passage into adulthood is culturally unique to the Malay community. As a brand that's committed to helping Malaysians always be ahead, we decided to pay tribute to those who stay ahead of new Raya responsibilities with digital smarts, perseverance, and courage.
Solution:
We told a story Malay youths entering adulthood could relate to, through the lens of Nadia and her first Raya as a working adult. Nadia enthusiastically owns her new responsibilities with determination and vigour. Everything goes according to plan until it doesn't '“ Nadia makes a huge blunder that is at risk of putting a damper on the festivities. Although so, she does not shrink back and successfully bounces back with a digital solution that saves the day. Her family acknowledges her growth and her ability to shoulder responsibility and handle things on her own, showing a glimpse of the emotions parents feel when their children grow up.
