Brief:
Astro and NagaDDB Tribal had crafted a short 2-minute film titled 'Masa Bersama Merapatkan Kita' starring actors Syafiq Kyle and his then fiance 'Mimi Lana'. The film plays out around a married couple constantly arguing and bickering around their very young daughter and how it seems to affect the relationship between everyone in the household, with the ending summarising that it may not be easy being a family - but that we should make the time that we can for our family, as that's what bring us together.

Solution:
Lucky for us, thousands of talented Malaysian artists and creatives are always releasing amazing music every day to help speak melodic words for Malaysians who need just a little bit of a boost to express how they feel. In came the famous AJL 33 winning 2018 song by Hael Husaini (with co-production credits by Ezra Kong) titled, 'Haram' with a feature from the songstress, Dayang Nurfaizah. Despite its semi-negative title representing 'anything that is forbidden by Islamic law', it was the lyrics that spoke for themselves.
The lyrics at the start such as 'Selalu salah aku, memilih cinta aku dulu. Mati rasa aku' help express the story of the start of the married couple having issues in their marriage. To the strong lyrics in the chorus, 'Biar rasa ini, tersimpan hanya untuk aku. Kamu saja tahu' hitting just nicely at the rise of the film when they all come together - it was a no-brainer when we looked into using this song for the film.
