In 2022, up to 63% of Malaysians reported close encounters with financial scams. Despite the rise of scam reports, awareness and education on anti-scam protection was still alarmingly low. How could we raise public awareness on anti-scam education?
Solution:
For the first time ever, Malaysia's entire banking industry joined forces to launch its first ever inter-bank anti-scam roadshow, #JanganKenaScam Fest! An on-ground event that invited Malaysians to safeguard their financial livelihoods by learning and experiencing the tell-tale signs of digital scams.
