This Deepavali, our film aspires to be a guiding light, illuminating the lives of every Malaysian and fostering a spirit of togetherness and optimism for the future.
Solution:
The film drew inspiration from a place of togetherness for many Malaysians: the barbershop. To capture the essence of the festival bringing light into lives we told the story of Manosh, a barber with just one style of haircut. But it isn't just Manosh's hands that work wonders; it is his words. As he cuts hair, he entertains his customers with tales and stories from his own life. People love visiting him for that valuable life advice, and they always leave his shop with lifted spirits. Just as Deepavali symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, a fresh cut from Manosh represents a new beginning, illuminating lives through wisdom and inspiration.
