Brief:
The challenge was to create an anniversary celebration that not only honoured PETRONAS' impressive milestones but also engaged and resonated with a diverse audience.PETRONAS needed to bridge its corporate achievements with personalised connections, fostering a sense of pride, unity and shared success among Malaysians.
Solution:
To celebrate 50 years of progress, PETRONAS used digital innovation to transform its story into an immersive, interactive experience. At the Suria KLCC concourse, the Infinity Loop, an 89-metre LED installation surrounded visitors with motion, light and sound, while real-time features like the Wishing Bubble wall and motion-reactive walkway turned audiences into active participants. Complementing this, the Warisan Kita: Terus Tumbuh exhibition at Galeri PETRONAS brought the story of legacy and growth to life through interactive displays and digital art installations. Together, these experiences blended technology, culture and emotion, engaging over 30,000 visitors and exceeding participation targets by 50 percent, proving that innovation and heritage can coexist beautifully in one seamless journey.
