Brief:
Demonstrate 5G's edge over other networks including low latency, ultra-fast browsing speeds, and a steady network range during the Paris Olympics 2024.
Solution:
Launched during the Paris 2024 Olympics, Unilympics is a series of mobile games that combines the nostalgia of old-school arcade classics with new-age UX, transforming couch potatoes into world-class athletes. Well, almost. Each game stood for a 5G benefit: 10,000cm Dash for fast connections, Shuttle Shuffle for low latency and quick response times, and Heart Archery for steady network coverage.
The visual identity of Unilympics is inspired by pixel art. The characters and environments are designed with a retro aesthetic, calling back to the era of arcade games. The UX is designed for simplicity and speed, ensuring intuitive one-handed gameplay. Each sport uses minimalistic controls, focusing on fluidity and one touch response. With multiple levels of difficulty, the games suits both beginners and experts.
