Brief:

Our Chicken McNuggets is one of our most beloved menu items, captivating customers' taste buds all year round. Their timeless appeal is enhanced by our classic and beloved sauces: BBQ and Sweet N' Sour, and made even more special this year with the addition of four limited-edition sauces '“ Sweet Chili, French Cheese, Cajun, and Japanese Curry. We wanted to offer something extra special to our adventurous and expressive-minded customers, particularly the Gen Z group. We recognized that Gen Zs possess a unique ability to express themselves in distinctive ways, be it through their fashion choices or the way they speak.

Solution:

Harnessing this understanding, we created an exciting campaign idea, #McDDoDaDip; providing Gen Zs with an opportunity to indulge in the pleasure of self-expression by exploring our six delectable dipping sauces, BBQ, Sweet N' Sour, Sweet Chili, French Cheese, Cajun, and Japanese Curry.We collaborated with one of the most influential Malaysian pop stars adored by many young listeners to feature our McNuggets campaign: ALYPH, a composer, a rapper, and artist. Leveraging his most viral-ed TikTok hit song, SWIPE, we made a DoDaDip rendition that drove relatability and talkability.Using our Do Da Dip x ALYPH song, we extended it into a social engagement to get Gen Zs to be part of the vibe. We challenged Malaysians to pass the vibe check with their creative finger dances using SWIPE, and stand a chance to win RM50,000 worth of exclusive prizes, which includes a personal invitation to a Do Da Dip Party with ALYPH and a limited edition McNugget merchandise.
