In many Malaysian and Asian families, love is rarely expressed through words. Instead, it is passed down through discipline, guidance and everyday gestures. Using the samping, a traditional Malay garment, as a symbol of cultural heritage, the film explores how a father’s seemingly strict ways become the values and wisdom his son carries into adulthood. Through this story, OCBC reminds us that while wealth can be preserved, wisdom and love are legacies we must choose to carry forward.
