Brief:
Every brand promises quality. At Guinness, we’ve spent centuries perfecting ours. Nothing less than a perfect pint will do.
So how did we tell people our pint's perfect? We didn't. We let them prove it. Introducing the world’s most exclusive job: Chief Pint Officer. Responsibility — check the quality of Guinness pints.
Solution:
To fill the role, we launched a nationwide job hunt. We announced it with online articles with our job listing. It was also on social, DOOH in malls and in bars too.
Their job application was the tilt test: Tilt your pint. If the creamy head holds, it's a perfect pint. All people had to do was snap a picture of their tilt and post it. The more they posted — the more they honed their tilt, the higher their chances for securing the job.
For the finale, we invited shortlisted candidates to train with us before the final group interview. Job benefits included a flight to Dublin for their official induction and monthly Guinness products to keep their pint checking skills sharp.
